Staycation

Sunday, November 4, 2012

This weekend Tim and I had a bit of a "staycation." We had a free night at a Marriott Hotel but we didn't have time to go out of town so we just made a fun weekend of it! We drove down to Provo (what should have been an hour drive but took 2 hours due to a semi truck losing it's load) and met up with our friends Dallin and Sam for dinner. After that we went over to Velour to see our friends in The New Electric Sound play a concert. Tim subbed in last summer and played with them and we both had a blast. They are awesome! I would highly encourage checking them out. You can check out their website and songs here.

We stayed the night in Provo and then woke up early and headed up to Park City and spent the day checking out the outlets. We realized it was the first time that Tim and I had ever gone clothes shopping together in the year that we have been together! I guess that's what happens when a frugal boy marries a frugal girl.

Excuse my hair, I chose pigging out at the continental breakfast vs. doing my hair :)
