We're finally moved into our new apartment! Things still need to be put away and organized but it is so nice to be here and be moved in. This new apartment is twice as big, newer, nicer, has a shorter commute for both of us, has a washer and dryer, and we're saving $150 a month. Awesome? YES!

Look at all that counter space! I'm in love!

Tim wanted to be in the picture so he held that post for a good 15 seconds while I took the panoramic picture haha

We still had a month left in our old lease but we had found someone to buy it. Turns out their application didn't pass so now we are scrambling to find someone to take over February so we don't have to pay double. Anyone want to move into an orange apartment?? No?


I got my official acceptance letter to the University of Utah and got my login information all entered. Woohoo! My credits will all be transfered in the next 6 weeks. 


I made chicken broccoli casserole for dinner last night and it was amazing. I always get so excited when a recipe turns out well the first time I try it. 
It is still incredibly and unbelievably cold here. So cold that I am looking forward to that 39 degree weather more than anything! That practically sounds like t-shirt weather after this horribly long cold spell!

    Holy cow-- okay, Caleb and I are in the midst of finding a perfect apartment for us so I am colored BRIGHT GREEN with envy! Holy moly-- that kitchen? To die for! Especially in an apartment! YAY!!!

    Congrats on your acceptance! It took me a while to decide what I wanted to be when I 'grew up', but because I waited I found that was more focused and worked harder for every grade than most of the (younger) people around me (or a younger me would have). It has been a long journey, and HARD at times, but getting my degree in May will be worth every bit of struggle to get there. You will look back and be SO glad to have chased your dreams. Good luck!

    we just live downstairs of the in-laws and its a really nice place but still.. its not "our" place.

    Your place looks very nice!!! I didn't know you lived in Salt Lake City. My aunt and uncle live just outside of there in Bluffdale. Beautiful area!!

    Kel!! Omgsh! I love it! I love the texture of the walls in the kitchen. So darling! I wish we had cute little characteristic things like that in our house! You are going to have so much fun decorating and getting all settled! Okay, that is so funny that you remember the LoveSac and everything! I so wish we would have met at school! What a bummer!
