I FINALLY passed my written exam for my state board exam to become a licensed master esthetician in the state of Utah. I have literally spent hundreds of hours studying. The test is 110 questions and you need a 75% to pass. The first two times I took it I got a 74%. Not. Even. Joking. It was so hard!! I am so thrilled that I finally passed on the third try. I have one more test to take and then I will finally be licensed!

School starts up soon! Is it weird that I feel like a 40 year old going back to college? I took a couple years off to figure out what I wanted to do but it feels like I've been out of the game for so long. Hopefully I can get into school mode pretty quickly.

We are trying to figure out what to do with our living situation. We are living in an absolutely wonderful mother in law apartment right now but the house is up for sale. If they sell the house and the new owners dont want us here and want the apartment for their own use we have 30 days to find something new. We are in love with the apartment and our ward so hopefully we will get to stay awhile!

I made some oreo balls for my husband to bring to work. They had never had them before and my husband told them how yummy they are. Tim thinks I should post the recipe to the blog but I am pretty sure that would be like putting up a recipe on how to make a bowl of cereal or toast. Opinions?

I got stuck in traffic today on my way to take my test. I had this feeling that I should leave super early. I left over an hour early when it is only supposed to take 25 minutes to get to the testing center. They closed down all the lanes of the freeway except for two and then cut it down to one so I was stuck in crazy traffic. I am usually a pretty calm driver but I absolutely hate when people weave in and out of lanes trying to save themselves 5 seconds. One particular woman was constantly switching lanes. She tried to squeeze into my line right in front of me and I didn't let her in. I know that sounds mean but I didn't care. She started yelling at me and waving her arms all around. I motioned that she should just stay in her own lane and calm down. Am I terrible or what? I felt kind of bad but she was driving me nuts. My mom informed me that I get that from my grandpa. ;) Anyways, I ended up getting to the testing center 2 minutes before the cut off time where they don't let you in anymore. I think God was definitely looking out for me on that way! Thank you!!

  17. weaving in and out drives me bonkers. i hate it. garrett does it sometimes and i really, extra hate that. it makes me so nervous. and i totally would have done the same thing and not let the crazy into my lane. so if you're terrible, i am too. i'm SO happy you passed your test! i know how miserable it is to take those darn tests so i'm super excited that you're done with it!
