I received a bouquet from Bouqs in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own as always!
When Tim and I started dating he asked if I liked getting flowers and I told him no. Anybody that knows me knows that I am super frugal so spending money on something that you just look at just wasn't a priority of mine. Even when Tim wanted to buy flowers for an Anniversary or birthday I would decline and give him an alternative. (usually food!)
I think it took actually receiving flowers to change my mind.
Thanks Bouqs! Having fresh flowers in the room (especially when you live in a super tiny apartment and are in the same room all the time) really brightens up a mood and makes everything more cheery. I think I might finally be converted to being a flower fan! I mean how could you not with these gorgeous blooms in your living room?
I first noticed
The Bouqs Co. when I saw them on Shark Tank. Is anyone else addicted to that show? They had such a smart idea! They charge a flat fee for any flower arrangement. Now your significant other doesn't have to sit and wonder if you'll like the more expensive flowers better than the cheapo ones. Brilliant! I also love that they source only from eco-friendly, sustainable farms that respect their environment and their workers. They provide living wages, childcare, healthcare, and adult education throughout their farms. I can always stand behind a company like that.
Do you love receiving flowers? What is your favorite kind you've received?
Awesome! I'm planning to do a review for Bouqs and I enjoyed reading your post - those flowers look lovely! I agree with you that I feel like buying flowers is a waste of money but then I LOVE having them around!
ReplyDeleteSo cool that they're from a volcano!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I do have a soft spot for flowers! I also tend to be cheap, so I never encourage Angel to get them for me, but on the occasions when I have gotten flowers, I've been pretty excited!
