Luckily Tim and I share a love for New York City. So much that we have been 3 times in the last 2 years. We love the culture, the food, the shows, and the whole environment. When we decided to take a spur of the moment east coast trip before Tim starts his new job we knew New York City had to be first on the list.
It was fun to go back to old places we love but also to try new places and explore new areas. We stayed in the lower east side which is an area we haven't spent much time in so it was really fun to check out a new part of the city. Here are some of the highlights from our stay:

The shows! Tim won the Matilda lottery (finally!) and we got rush tickets for The Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder and Rocky. All 3 shows were absolutely incredible.

Oh and the food. Always the food!
