Sunday Tim and I had our first day of teaching the 8-9 year old boys at church. Holy cow. I was so exhausted by the end of it but I think it is going to be a great experience.
Last night I had some more awesome new friends over for games and snacks and we had such a blast we didn't even get around to the games. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by so many incredible people here in the bay area. Literally every person I meet blows me away with their amazing background and personality.
Incase you didn't know my parents are heaving off to serve a mission for our church in San Juan, Puerto Rico in just about 3 weeks! They are going to be gone for 18 months and I can still hardly believe it. Their mission will cover the island of Puerto Rico and then a bunch of the small surrounding islands. What a blast. But also a lot of hard work. I just know they are going to be incredible and we can't wait to visit! We bought our plane tickets to Utah for a quick weekend after they get out of training in the Provo missionary training center before flying off to San Juan.
I decided to become a tutor at the public library! I am so excited about this and think it will be a great learning opportunity. I'm definitely hoping I can help someone in need. The program is called Project Read and helps adults and children who struggle with literacy. It was been fascinating as I work through the training process to see what a huge issue this is in our country. I can just tell this is going to be an awesome opportunity.
Hope you all have the best week!
Your life is so exciting right now!!! :)
