Basil Mozzarella Pasta

My mom gave me some basil plants last weekend and we have been taking full advantage of them! This is our favorite recipe to use with so far and the best part is it is inspired by my grandma. 


  • Cook pasta (we usually use fettucini or penne noodles) add a drop of olive oil so the noodles don't stick together
  • Grill chicken and slice
  • Add 1 small slice of butter to taste and another drop of olive oil
  • Add as much basil as you want. I LOVE basil so I always add lots! 
  • Stir in about a cup of mozzarella cheese. I like to use fresh mozzarella. 
I know that is super simple but it is so yummy. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
