Ciao Italy!

Italy has been at the top of my travel list ever since I can remember. Tim and I were talking about it A LOT and then for my birthday in July he surprised me by saying we would be going a few months later for Thanksgiving! We had enough hotel and credit card points saved up to do it really cheap with free flights and a couple free hotel stays. If there is anything I love more than traveling it is traveling without breaking the bank. We booked our flight to Rome but knew we wanted to hit a few more cities and narrowing it down was honestly so hard! Ultimately we ended up narrowing it down to Rome, Cinque Terre, and Florence (with a quick stop in Pisa on the way from Cinque Terre to Florence!)

We ate and ate and ate and made sure after we were stuffed we had gelato to top it all off. One thing I loved about Italy is that besides taking trains to get from town to town we didn't have to take public transportation at all. Everything was so compact and close together that we just walked. And boy did we walk! You know you are doing a trip right when you come home at the end of the day completely exhausted from running around.
