Weekend Schmeekend
This weekend was one of those that felt like it hardly happened. Probably because it consisted of studying, studying, and some more studying. Tim has roughly 3 weeks until he takes the 1st CFA exam and I have 5 weeks left of the semester.
The semester in which my crazy self decided to sign up for 17 credits. 17 credits isn't that bad but when you are doing it all online with no human interaction it is killer. Because of that I've decided to cut it down next semester and work part time and just take 9 or 10 credits. If anyone in Salt Lake knows of anyone hiring a master esthetician hit me up! My client's love me ;)
We are still in the awkward stage of our new congregation. You know where you've only been a few times and you don't really know anyone but you are trying to be super smiley and outgoing so that everyone will be your friend? Yes. That's it. There are a lot of elderly ladies in our ward and I kind of want them all to adopt me as their granddaughters. They're just all so sweet and cute. Is that weird?
Also, I wen't to the gym twice this weekend. That's right. I won't even tell you the last time I went. Am I the only one who decided to get super ripped and goes to the gym religiously for weeks and then spends the next few weeks doing absolutely nothing? I really need to work on this whole consistency thing. Anyways, I thought it would be a great idea to do about 1000 reps on the weight machines because you can't really feel it while you are doing it. I can surely feel it now! I can barely walk.
Hope everyone had an awesome weekend!
Can't believe your semester is wrapping up! Sounds like a crazy weekend of studying. And that's so cool you're finally a master esthetician. I really hope you find a job in it! :)
ReplyDeleteI am VERY guilty of 80 reps on a low weight and then DYING!

This semester I'm feeling the school burn, and I'm only doing 10 credits! Next semester I'm doing 12 "fun" ones because I need to go to school but all my required classes are in person now, and Audrey won't be quite old enough in January to consistently be on the bottle with daddy, so I'll have to go in summer. For spring I am taking Intro to Writing Poetry, Intro to Music Theory, Survey of Broadway Musicals, and Weight Management!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with school! And that is how I totally am in the family wards, it'll work out great because you are adorable and old ladies love anything adorable!
ReplyDeletedamn, 17 credits is intense!! I don't know what you mean by "ward"... what is that? sounds nice, but i understand awkwardness of an acquaintance, lol. lovely blog! good luck with the end of the semester!
