On Blogging
Blogging. It is such a funny thing. I have had multiple blogs over the last few years but I always get embarrassed by them and end up deleting them. I regret that now!Over the past year I decided that since we all know I am terrible at keeping a journal and I'd like some way to remember details from my life I may as well stick to blogging. For some reason documenting my life on the internet that anybody has access to makes it easier? Who knows why, but it does.
I have learned so much since starting this hobby about a year ago. I've learned the basics of coding, html, becoming a better writer, and becoming more organized to name a few. One of my favorite aspects of blogging has been forming relationships with amazing women all over the world!
While growing up my family moved quite often and so it was pretty difficult to form close relationships with friends. I feel so blessed to have created so many friendships through blogging. It seems that just about monthly I am meeting up with these ladies to just chat and talk about life. That has been such a blessing in my life and something I haven't had much of earlier in my life.
I remember the first "blogger meet up" that I went to I was scared out of my mind. What was little old me going to talk to all gorgeous, talented women about?! I eventually warmed up to the idea and I am so glad I decided to go! These "strangers" have become close friends and ladies I feel like I can trust and get great advice from.
So while blogging does get an awful lot of bashing, I want to say that there is a lot of good in it and I am thankful for every encouraging, thoughtful, and honest comment that has been left here. You certain make my life brighter!
I love blogging so much! I've meant some AMAZING people. I've gone through a few blogs myself. Now I'm at a point in my life where I feel like even my worst posts are okay!

ReplyDeleteI love blogging! It is such a great creative outlet and way to connect with different people, I am so happy I became a blogger (:
ReplyDeleteI feel the exact same way -- sometimes I really don't know why I still attempt to keep up with a blog, even when it seems like I have nothing important to say. But I just can't quit it! :)

ReplyDeleteHow do you know about every single blogger meet up?!? It is seriously a skill you have!

ReplyDeleteThat's how blogging should be...I started blogging to give my two cents on things and know many people, eventually I'll get to that :P
ReplyDeleteI feel really special that I got my own picture ;) hahaha I'm so glad we became friends through blogging! I really feel like we've been friends our whole lives, and actually, I think we were destined to be friends, we just failed to meet up sooner!
