It's always fun to look back at the ideas that we thought were brilliant. I was browsing through a few old pictures and thought I would share with you the lessons I've learned since I graduated high school in 2008.
^^ Dressing in complete gold for Prom. It's no wonder nobody asked me to the dance. ^^
^^ Yes I am the one in the ridiculous blue shorts. Need I say more? ^^
^^ Wearing insanely low rise jeans. In December. With a strange furry winter coat. Gross. ^^
^^ Being so cheap that instead of buying new jeans I would just "fix" them with my pro sewing skills. ^^
LOL!! These are awesome. I think I would die of embarrassment if I posted something like this--- too many bad times in my past hahha
ReplyDeleteHAHA the furry coats were so cool though! I still have a vest with a furry hood!
ReplyDeleteI thought all of these were so cute. haha! I think in 10 years from now, you might think the same thing! Styles change and I am always thinking, "What the crap was I wearing?"
ReplyDeleteSorry - these are not dumb, well maybe the one out in the cold. But an all gold dress? Brilliant! Also the best jeans are the ones that we wear out in the knees, because they are so comfy. So I totally understand wanted to keep them in play.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to every one except wearing all gold to prom, mostly because I didn't have a prom! But I am guilty of all of these.
ReplyDeleteAlso, regardless, you look gorgeous in that prom photo!
hahaha--I think I could totally go back through old pictures and think--what was I thinking?? When I look at pictures from when I was 15, I understand why occasionally people asked if I was a boy or a girl. I had super short hair...and to this day I love short hair....but back then I also wore a lot of blue jeans and unisex baggy t-shirts. I now prefer to obviously look like a girl! :P
ReplyDeleteThis really makes me want to go through my old pictures! Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA I just about died. I think I am guilty of almost all those. I wore sweats and a tshirt every day my sophomore year because I thought it made me look sporty. Ew to every picture ever taken that year.
ReplyDeleteHaha not worse than when I put safety pins in my jeans for decoration because I was trying to look like a skater...talk about gross.
ReplyDeleteRemember those plastic choker necklaces?? Yeah, those happened in junior high. I die of embarrassment.
ReplyDeleteI love this! I had some terrible blunders as a teen such as a hoodie that said 'player' and a singlet top that said 'bong' which I wore when I was 13 and I had no idea what they meant! shame...

I shudder to think about my high school fashion. Yikes!
ReplyDeletehahaha - i think we all have those "shoulda coulda woulda" photos from back in the day. it's all memorable though - and cute!
ReplyDeleteHa! I totally have tried to fix my jeans too! What was I thinking?
ReplyDeleteI like the gold dress!!! :) And jeans that look like they need fixed are what's in style now! Haha - I loved this. I may have to pull out some old pictures. I could really embarrass myself! I had this perfect little roll of bangs... ugh.

These pictures are awesome! I also rocked the oversized basketball shorts and the low-rise jeans! But my look included something even better...huge coke bottle glasses! Yikes!

Haha! Pretty sure I had that green furry coat! High school was pretty great.. Looking back I just have to laugh about what I thought was "cool" and "in." I wore a nasty puka shell necklace for the longest time hahaha sick!! Now I'm feeling I need to take a picture trip down memory lane :) good times!
ReplyDeletehaha love the pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha. Aww Kelsey! It's okay! At least you can look back and know things look out of place. Some people never learn haha!
