Are you ready for part 2 of our trip to New York?! I felt like we ate endless amounts of fabulous food but we definitely made up for it in our miles and miles of walking everyday. Not to mention we were sweating buckets of sweat. Cute, right? Here are some of the high lights from our trip.
One of the hotels we stayed at was RIGHT next to the World Trade Center. It was neat to see how much it has changed since we saw it last year.
Some of the Food Trucks in NYC are incredible. I got this delicious assortment of tacos for just a couple bucks. So yummy.
Ignore the glares and red eyes. One day maybe we will upgrade to a nice camera from our phone cameras. This is from the Top of the Rock.
Rockefeller Center! Can't believe we went to the very top!
I figured out why I am so unfashionable. Apparently it is totally in to wear your purse on your head ;)
I was in love with the murals on the ceiling of Rockefeller Center. So gorgeous.
Our goal was to find some great Indian food. We definitely found it at Brick Lane! We didn't have anywhere to put the leftovers so we gave them to a homeless man on our way home with a hungry sign. I felt bad because it was super spicy and he probably didn't have anything to drink. We are jerks.
When I ordered croissant french toast at this hole in the wall diner I had no idea this masterpiece would come out! So good!
I seriously felt like we were in a spaceship in the lobby of our hotel. This one was definitely much nicer than the hotels we had to pay for ourselves. We enjoyed the luxury while it lasted though.
If you haven't been to the MOMA you must. It has some of the weirdest art I have ever seen. This was a video of a bunch of men dancing in glittery skimpy outfits. That little girl was rather intrigued haha!
I quite enjoyed this painting of bums. Ignore my nappy hair. It was so humid and hot!
Another gem. Trying to convince Tim to put this in our house ;)
Is this not the coolest cathedral ever?
Some blurry pictures of the Manhattan skyline. Oh what I wouldn't give for a nice camera!
Is he a hunk or what??
We decided to take the subway up to Coney Island on our last day.
For some reason Tim really wanted this robot machine to tell him his fortune. Creepiest thing ever.
One last shot as we drove away to the airport!
After 9 fun filled, busy, long, crazy days our trip was over. Little did we know our plane would be delayed and we wouldn't get home until after 1 in the morning. NYC we can't wait to come see you again!
Sounds like you had a great trip. I miss living in NY, but I'll have to try Brick Lane the next time I am there.
