We had such a fun weekend! We have been trying to stay cheap with our date nights while still having a lot of fun and I think we succeeded this weekend! We started off Friday night at a cute little Greek restaurant called Yanni's Greek Express. Seriously so yummy and super cheap! Afterwards we headed to the dollar theatre in Sugarhouse. We go there so often it is starting to get pretty ridiculous but who can pass up a movie in a nice theatre for less than $2? We finished our night at Yogurtland where we used our coupon from Living Social. We had such a great night for less than $10. Nothing beats that!
On Saturday I sorted through endless hours of homework so that I wouldn't be stuck doing it during our trip to Denver this coming week. In the afternoon we headed downtown with a bunch of friends to the Living Culture Festival. We watched some dancing, tried tons of amazing food, and then decided to go get slurpees at 7-11 because we were too cheap to buy the $5 slushies at the Hawaiian stand.
We are getting super excited to head down to Denver with my grandparents for my little brother's high school graduation. I can't believe he is that old! I'm excited to share some awesome pictures with you after our trip!
Our possy at the festival. Please ignore the warped faces of some individuals ;)
P.S This is where we stayed when we got married. Such a neat hotel!
P.S.S If you ever run out of eggs and want to make cookies just add baking soda to boiling water then too to your cookie dough. These cookies were delicious!
I love weekends like that! :) So awesome!!! And I didn't know that about cookies. I ran out of eggs a while ago and was short one so I just added a tiny bit more liquid haha, I'm sure it didn't have the same effect! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a ton of fun! And great advice for cookies! I will totally be using that the next time I've made the whole recipe before checking if I have eggs ;)
