A Quick Weekend Visit

Tuesday, June 24, 2014

Over the weekend we took a quick flight to Utah to attend a wedding and send my parent's off to Puerto Rico after their 2 weeks of training in the missionary training center in Provo. Here are a few highlights from our trip!

Wedding
I come from a really closely knit, large extended family. I am super close to all my cousins so of course we all get super excited when someone gets married! I was super bummed to miss one of the weddings a couple months ago so I was glad that this one fell on a weekend where we could attend. The whole celebration was so lovely. We felt like we were practically in the clouds at her reception.

Family Time
Luckily we were able to squeeze in quite a bit of family time over the weekend. We had fun going to church together, listening to old records, eating, and enjoying the beauty of being out of the city. My grandparent's house has always been such a peaceful place for me and one of my favorite places to be. Have I mentioned the incredible green smoothies you can make from their garden? Heaven.

Randoms
The weekend also seemed to be full of lots of other random occurrences. Helping my in laws with a flood in their basement, reading a journal someone left in the bathroom stall of LAX talking about Russian mobsters and dates, a long delay in said airport, a 3am trip to the airport, and lots of driving up and down I-15. We already can't wait to head back to Utah for a longer trip soon! We love living here in the bay area but we also can never get enough of our family during our visits back to Utah.

  4. Glutathione Canada has been an absolute godsend for my long-suffering uneven skin tone. It's incredible how it lightens the skin and lessens the look of dark patches at the same time. Glutathione should be a regular part of the regimen for anyone in Canada experiencing these symptoms.
