The Great Haircut of 2013

I've had long hair basically my whole life. Because of that I always just got my hair trimmed up at Great Clips. Yes you can slap me on the hand now. 
I decided this summer that it was time to get rid of it. I kept putting it off though. Those little strands of keratin are important to us girls! I only researched about every single salon in Salt Lake valley before deciding on Leni Brass at Got Beauty in Sugarhouse. She is the cutest thing and is super nice and friendly. 
The Salon staff were so kind and friendly to me and the place was so darling! I was offered something to drink and then had my hair shampooed and my scalp massaged. So heavenly. Then it was time for the cut. 
It is amazing to me the years spent growing out your hair and in a few snips it was gone! Talk about invigorating!! Leni then went on to blow dry and style my hair. The best part was that she showed me how to style my new short locks. How awesome is that? We all know I would have been clueless without that. At the end she showed me all the products that would help my hair look awesome but didn't push anything on me. I loved having such an honest, sweet, and kind stylist! 
If you are looking for a new stylist I would seriously recommend her. I don't like writing reviews about products or services unless I am a true believer in them. When I find something awesome I think they deserve a little love. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with her.
