Dating Disasters
Dating disasters...where do I even begin... I feel like I have had quite a few.
One time in high school I got asked to the homecoming dance by a boy. I think he was my boyfriend at the time. He was suppose to pick me up but then called me and told me to just meet him at the school. I drove to the school where the dance was and called him to see where he was. He said he would be there in a little bit and to keep waiting. I stood there for a while and then he called again and said he was coming out of the dance in the school to come get me. I was super confused at this point.
I was standing in the line to get into the dance and out comes my date being escorted by a police officer. I was totally shocked and super confused. I ended up going into the dance to meet up with some friends and was texting him trying to figure out what was going on. Turns out he stood me up to go drinking with his friends and ended up getting a DUI at the dance. Needless to say I ended up dateless. He wouldn't talk to me after that for about a week. I felt bad for the guy and ended up bringing him cookies. Yeah I know what you're thinking, he should have been bringing ME cookies! Haha! Definitely one of my most awkward dating experiences!
That is so sad! I can't believe he stood you up to drink with his friends! That is an awkward date! So, sorry that, that happened to you!

Ah, how horrible!! I had similar experiences with just one boyfriend who I dated for almost 6 years. (started dating in 10th grade) He would choose to go out with friends & get drunk. He even cheated on me at one point but blamed it on being drunk. I believed him at the time (or I convinced myself to) but no matter what he did-him, his family, & his friends would find a way to make me out to be "the bad guy". "He's in high school"...."These are the best years of his life" ... "You don't want him drinking and smoking!? You need to get over that".... Yeah. I put up with that for 6 years. How? I have NO idea. SO happy that is over. 2 days after that relationship ended I met my boyfriend Alex <3 & now I see how a MAN should actually treat a lady.

Haha, those are great stories!
ReplyDeleteI think the craziest story I had was my first online dating date (I'm no longer doing that... I met too many creeps) showed up and I walked right past him because he looked nothing like his picture! Once inside the Starbucks we were at, he gave me 6 individually wrapped gifts including moving materials, candy/cookies and a JOURNAL that he wrote inspirational quotes in! Too weird. He then proceeded to ask me to "grade" him on his dating skills and what he could've done better to make me like him. Too weird!

ReplyDeleteoutright. One more source may be a credit union that you
are a member of, often they will provide lower interest rates.
In that case, you are bound to pay huge compensation charges to that car leasing company
including annual taxes, fares, insurance coverage charges, annual maintenance charges etc.
